Imbolc & Brigid at Uisneach – Awakening of the Land
Imbolc & Brigid at Uisneach – Monday 2nd February 11:00 – 14:00
Join us in celebrating the first stirrings of spring at the sacred centre of Ireland. This Imbolc and St Brigid’s Day, explore Uisneach with our guides stationed at key points on the hill, each sharing stories of Brigid, Imbolc, healing and renewal.
Follow the ancient pathways, pause at story stations, and learn how this landscape has marked the turning of the year for thousands of years. Discover Brigid as goddess and saint, keeper of flame, protector of home, animals and a symbol of new beginnings.
At the summit, gather around the intentions fire, where you will be invited to reflect, release what no longer serves you, and set a hope for the season ahead.
A gentle pilgrimage through myth, landscape and light – marking the moment when winter loosens her grip and the land begins to wake.
We will then gather at the visitor centre for refreshments and music by fireside.
